Original music composed by me as a creative outlet for me....Ernie Rich. Hopefully, there are folks out there that will enjoy listening to these pieces.

This music consists of a variety of "Tone Poems and Musical Thoughts", some following the formats of waltzes, marches, tone poems, sngs and casual pieces; others defy definition. A few have lyrics, but the emphasis is usually on melody.  Their flavors range from the whimsical to the serious...

So, download these pieces freely  and enjoy them ...if you find them agreeable. If you really like the music, recommend this site to your friends! Maybe you w ill ene be persuaded to send me your comments, good or bad. I'd be encouraged by the nice comments and try to heed the critical ones and maybe learn from them.

Each piece is accompanied by a few brief liner notes that give some information about the instruments used, the flavor I intended to convey and any other musings I may have had about the piece.

To hear the current piece, click on the little icon  at the bottom of the page. Most computers can handle the MP3 format that these pieces are in for internet distribution. If you are having trouble, let me know and I'll try to help you hear them.

The first CD I cut has 16 on it together with the liner notes and you can order it from me for the modest price of $6.50 plus $1.50 for shipping costs. The labeling and packaging is attractive, and professional looking... not clunky.
